The "Can You Guess" contest was sponsored by the Quebec Writers' Federation and the Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec. All of the books featured in the "Can You Guess" publicity campaign were by English-language authors from Quebec.
The winners of the contest are:

Each winner will receive the following fourteen books by English-language writers from Quebec or living in Quebec:

- Done With Slavery, by Frank Mackey;
- Fish Bones, by Gillian Sze;
- The Brutal Telling, by Louise Penny;
- Bottomfeeder, by Taras Grescoe;
- Sympathy for the Couriers, by Peter Richardson;
- The Heart Specialist, by Claire Holden Rothman;
- What World is Left, by Monique Polak;
- This Way Out, by Carmine Starnino.
