- Non-fiction prize called "Mavis Gallant Prize for Non-fiction"

- First Book award named "McAuslan First Book Award"
The QWF Literary Awards
QWF holds an annual juried competition for published books by Quebec authors in five categories:
- Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction
- Mavis Gallant Prize for Non-Fiction
- A. M. Klein Prize for Poetry
- McAuslan First Book Prize
- QWF Prize for Children's & Young Adult Literature
- QWF Translation Prize (French and English, with target language alternating each year)
An award of $2,000 goes to the winner in each category.
